This file contains points (vector format) situated within a study area that encompasses all twelve California Department of Transportation Districts. The points represent locations of thermal springs derived from the statewide Calhot database of the California Division of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (CDOGGR), which was renamed the California Geologic Energy Management Division (CalGEM) in 2020. It also includes additional thermal springs and fumaroles derived from field observations, topographic maps, and technical maps and reports. |
